Partners in Personal Assistance (PPA) is an innovative nonprofit organization that provides in home and community based personal assistant services. PPA offers an empowering solution for people with disabilities and elders (Consumer Employers) who want to exercise independence and self determination in directing their personal care.
We are managed by Consumer Employers (CEs) and Personal Assistants (PAs) working cooperatively together.
PAs employed through PPA have access to health insurance, other benefits and training opportunities.
PPA staff and volunteers assist CEs in identifying and screening potential PAs.
The cost of services provided by PPA can be covered by private funds, insurance and Medicaid LongTerm Care programs.
